Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10)
The Perceived Stress Scale is a validated 10-item measure used to assess how stressful you have found your life situations over the past month.
This is a validated screening instrument for informational and self-monitoring purposes only. It is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace professional clinical evaluation. If you are in crisis, contact 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or call 911.
The questions ask about your feelings and thoughts during the last month. In each case, indicate how often you felt or thought a certain way.
Been upset because of something that happened unexpectedly
Felt that you were unable to control the important things in your life
Felt nervous and stressed
Felt confident about your ability to handle your personal problems
Felt that things were going your way

Been angered because of things that were outside of your control
Felt difficulties were piling up so high that you could not overcome them
