Couple Wellness Check-In
Assessing relationship strengths and areas for growth across key domains
Healthy relationships require regular, intentional reflection. Research by Gottman and colleagues (2023) identifies several key domains that predict relationship satisfaction: shared values, communication quality, social connection, household partnership, and emotional and physical intimacy. This check-in helps you and your partner assess how things are going in each area so you can celebrate strengths and identify where to focus your energy.
Each partner should complete this check-in independently, then share and discuss your responses together. For each relationship domain, rate how well things are going (1 = needs significant attention, 5 = going very well) and add a brief note explaining your rating.
